dedicated to music on vinyl, icrates magazine was founded two years ago as an online platform for analogue music. curated from Berlin and with an international team of writers, illustrators and designers, iCrates has grown to produce daily content covering a diverse range of influential scenes and artists, old and new, whose stories - like the records they produce - are timeless. furthermore, through our interviews with record stores and our focus on independent vinyl culture - the collectors, dj’s and labels - iCrates offers a platform to support the resurgence of this wonderful medium.
until now, iCrates has only existed online, but being a magazine dedicated to analogue music it has always been our dream to put it into print. so here's the deal: we want to produce the very first iCrates Annual, a high-quality print magazine with exclusive features and the best online content from the last year - 96 pages with 25 features (interviews, articles and reviews) celebrating independent music culture, past and present.
