ART AND MUSIC EXHIBITION
international acclaimed musician and performer Amanda Palmer is releasing a new, crowdfunded album with Grand Theft Orchestra. therefore she asked her friends, more than 30 international artists to do artworks for her new album and in a search for a place in Berlin turned to PLATOON to do an exhibition with an intimate concert.

after controversies with Roadrunner Records Amanda Palmer resigned from her major label and instead turned to her fans, new-age patrons, who finance and support her latest album with The Grand Theft Orchestra.

in september is coming out maybe the biggest Amanda's project until now or to put it in her own words: "we made what I believe is my best fucking album to date. it sounds...BEYOND EPIC."

she started a crowdfunding project on Kickstarter and pledged for 100.000 USD and received 1.2 MILLION $!! depending on how much you donate, you can get from a digital download of the new album to a crazy private party with Amanda and the band. you can meet with Amanda in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London… and BERLIN!

Amanda MacKinnon Gaiman Palmer a.k.a. Amanda Fucking Palmer, a voracious seeker of creative catharsis and emotional release, is a cross-genre performer, provocateur, singer, songwriter, pianist and a ukulele fan. she became known as one half of the cabaret-punk duo Dresden Dolls. as a social media mastermind she has more than a half million followers on twitter and a army of supporters worldwide. you can meet Amanda at big shows and also at sudden public ninja gigs (impromptu free shows announced on Twitter a few hours in advance)... and in her free time she tries to escape all these definitions.
