BERLIN · on the 24th of april the London-based artist Robert Montgomery will unveil his light sculpture"The City Is Wilder", a collaborative project with Holzmarkt e.G and KaterHolzig.
Gallery AJLart, curated by Sophie Weiser, invited Montgomery to partake in this project. the work will be mounted on the much discussed area of the former Bar25, opposite of KaterHolzig.
it is here, between train high-line and berliner wasserwerke, that the constructions of the new Holzmarkt area will commence in may.
montgomery's work - a poem in the public space - will remain on the area for 6 months, illuminating and reflecting the urban planning development.
