BERLIN · The Great Worlds Fair 2012 The World Is Not Fair
THU 24/05/2012
BERLIN · under ironic reference to the tradition of "expos" that take place worldwide for over 160 years at different locations, Hebbel am Ufer together with the architect collective Raumlabor prepare an exhibition journey with 16 pavilions. by choosing this venue "The World Is Not Fair - The Great World's Fair 2012" they want us to reflect on the use of public spaces and the future of this city.
each pavilion will act as a lens through which the participating visual artists, performers and filmmakers can develop their subjective and political reflections on the world. the fair’s attendees are encouraged to tour the expansive airfield and visit each unique pavilion, mirroring the spatial flow of traditional world fairs.
