PARIS · Québec numérique is a speical event organized jointly by Elektra (Montreal) and Arcadi (Paris), taking place during the second part of the Némo Fesitval, as part of the 50th anniversary of the General Delegations of Québec in France. For three days, Quebec numérique shines a spotlight on digital creations from Québec and presents a selection of important recent works on Parisian soil along with a special edition of the International Marketplace for Digital Arts (IMDA).

Québec numérique also plays host to the IMDA a unique rendezvous created by Elektra in 2007, which is a venue for professional networking and exchange to promote the international exposure of digital creators.

the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ) will host a round table on saturday, october 8th from 2:30pm to 5:30 pm at the Gaîté lyrique (auditorium), with specialists from Europe and Québec debating the identity of digital art and its different issues. the round table takes place with Yvan Gauthier, President of the CALQ, in attendance with Dominique Moulon, teacher, journalist and French expert in digital arts, as the moderator.

Québec numérique will also mark the 50th anniversary of the Délégation générale du Québec à Paris
