In his site-specific performance installation, JONÁŠ GRUSKA will transform one of the metal walls of PLATOON KUNSTHALLE's container into a speaker.

Electronic duo TRIPLE SUN will play live on two modular systems, improvising on layers of melody and sound, walking a line between ambient, techno, and early IDM.

NINA PIXEL of Hertz | Kunst-Plattform will merge her own field recordings of items, places, and other magic with her favourite production by beloved musicians, in a hybrid live/DJ set.

JONÁŠ GRUSKA

Jonáš Gruska was born in Czechoslovakia. He studied at Institute of Sonology in The Hague (Netherlands) and at Music Academy in Cracow (Poland). He works mostly with computers and electronics as a musician and sound artist under his civil name, or as Mrkva or Binmatu. He is also a developer of musical instruments, artistic software and hardware. Gave workshops on city sonification, field recording, printed circuit board design, and programming for artists. Jonáš has also been active part of various Gamelan orchestras in Netherlands, currently rehearsing with orchestra based in Bratislava.

He performed and exhibited his work in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden; on festivals such as Kraak (Belgium), Norberg (Sweden), Sonic Experiments @ ZKM (Germany), Audio Art (Poland), Mélos-Ethos (Slovakia), Parallel Vienna (Austria) or Next (Slovakia). In 2009, he started label LOM focused on East/Central European experimental art and music. Since 2013 he is organizing ZVUK, outdoor festival dedicated to experimental music.

TRIPLE SUN
Triple Sun is an electronic duo based on an empirical approach to music, sound design and visual imagination. Their multi-genre explorations are unified by a cinematic mood full of drive, psychedelia and freedom. The sound of Triple Sun is characterized by organic modular sound-design and minimalist arrangements.

NINA PIXEL
Nina Pixel is a part of the audio-visual group Hertz | Kunst-Plattform and female:pressure. Her music extends beyond the border of uncompromising ritual rhythms, in endless sonic soundscapes and dirty dark techno. She purposefully deconstructs once created, in an effort to re-create deep stories flowing into the space. Something's gonna happen, follow the void, dive in. Melt.
