The PLATOON KUNSTHALLE BERLIN program reflects the diverse creative and artistic movements happening worldwide in contemporary culture. Since opening in July 2012 it has presented a variety of public and private event formats at an international level. Almost daily, the program alternates between exhibitions, workshops, panel discussions, performances, and other events.

The creative scenes, brands and the media immediately accepted this new, temporary location, and enjoy its unique vitality and versatility.

This unique architectural concept reflects the globalized world, and the transient energy and creativity of Berlin. PLATOON KUNSTHALLE SEOUL received the German Design Award 2011 for this architectural style. PLATOON KUNSTHALLE BERLIN was built using 33 shipping containers.

At the entrance area of PLATOON KUNSTHALLE is the WORKLOUNGE and CONTAINER BAR. Through the dividing glass wall the main hall can be seen. A fascinating entrance of 100 m2. Ideal for smaller receptions, presentations and workshops. Up to 50 people seated, up to 150 people standing.
The 200 m2 MAIN HALL stands out because of its strong aesthetic featuring a 9m high ceiling and creating a contemporary creative cathedral. Exhibitions · Conferences · Brand Presentations · Gala Events · Seated Dinners · Branded Parties. Up to 120 people seated, up to 400 people standing.
On the 3rd floor above the WORKLOUNGE and MAIN HALL floats the 100 m2 PLATOON THINK TANK. An ideal space for small, exclusive and intimate gatherings. Workshops · Executive Meetings · Team Presentations · Exclusive Client Meetings. Up to 25 people seated, up to 50 people standing.
Facilities
At the rear of the site is the PLATOON FACTORY. The 200 square meter factory building is column-free and very versatile. Berlin classic rough charm is a notable feature. Up to 150 people seated , up to 400 people standing

For special pop-up event formats we have placed a 12m container next to the entrance of the PLATOON KUNSTHALLE. 30 m2 pop-up space on busy Schönhauser Allee 9 in Mitte.
