this is already the second prize PLATOON KUNSTHALLE is getting for its architectural design. but this is even bigger.
the award was given to seven buildings in korea selected by the korea institute of architecture today. the ceremony took place in the gymnasium of an old building, which was used as a hospital by the korean police and was recently opened to the public. it was freezing!
the whole procedure was held in a quite official way with speeches and low bows in front of all members of the korean architecture association. everybody involved in the awarded got a heavy plate as a certificate.
this is the most important architecture prize you can get in korea. christoph seems touched^^
