the exhibition tried to manipulate the viewer into second-guessing and contemplating his or her own sense of control, power, and self. needless to say, there was lots of nervous giggling as people were confronted with somewhat uncomfortable themes.
'BRIAN HUNTER has created a fun house of interactive installations pitting the viewer up against their own reality. the exhibition attempts to manipulate the viewer into contemplating his or her own self-control, impulses, and desires. the works indicate that there are some levels of uncontrollable powers beyond our own lives and show how the uncertainty about these powers can influence our personal reactions and awareness.' - KUNSTHALLE GWANGJU
CARPE NIGHTEM is HUNTER's first solo exhibition in korea. hopefully there will be many many more.
the exhibition runs until the 4th of december, so stop by if you're in the area and spend some time in a pink igloo. see the facebook event here.
