born in portugal in 1968 ASH studied and lived in paris, france from 1972 until 1996. he began doing graffiti in the early 1980’s and is regarded as one of the pioneers of the european scene. "ASH enjoys bringing attention to current issues without providing answers or solutions. instead he lets his audience question the current state of their environment, politics, nature and identity." here, I am more then curious what he has to say about the astronout in regards to the above!
in 2009, PLATOON worked with ASH to create a colossal work on schiffbauerdamm, drawing attention to the national minimum wage debate.
on oct 9th VICTOR will present three new works on canvas at pavilion. I'm quite curious how his art will be perceived when confined to a smaller space, it will be interesting to see!
the actual exhibition is will be open Wed - Sat 14:00 - 19:00 from the 9-23rd of Oct.
